This electric shunting locomotive axle gearbox features a two-stage spiral bevel-helical hard tooth surface transmission structure, tailored for heavy-load plant and mining traction. Perfectly matching AC/DC and battery electric locomotives, its core gears use 20CrMnTi alloy steel. Carburized, quenched, and double-sided ground to 56–62HRC, they offer exceptional impact and wear resistance.
The housing uses integrated HT250 high-strength cast iron for high rigidity and oil leakage prevention. With an IP54 sealing grade, it adapts well to dusty, humid environments in steel mills and chemical parks. Splash or forced circulation lubrication ensures stable heat dissipation and low temperature rise during continuous low-speed heavy-load operations.
Featuring a compact axle-hung mounting structure, this gear unit allows easy disassembly for daily maintenance. Gear ratios are customizable for 5 to 100-ton electric shunters. Widely used in steel plants, underground mines, and port warehouses, it serves as a reliable heavy-duty power transmission solution for electric rail transport vehicles.

This diesel shunting locomotive axle gearbox is developed exclusively for factory internal diesel rail transport equipment, applicable to diesel mechanical & diesel hydraulic yard locomotives with operating speed ≤100km/h, widely used in steel plants, coal mines, cement factories, cargo yard and smelter industrial zones.
As the key transmission part connecting diesel engine hydraulic torque converter and wheelset, it undertakes long-time heavy-load traction, frequent forward-reverse switching and bumpy yard track working conditions. Two-stage bevel-helical reduction structure greatly amplifies output torque, perfectly matching low-speed heavy haul demand of industrial diesel shunters.
