Semi Automatic Knuckle Coupler
SAINEER semi-automatic knuckle coupler is the mainstream heavy-load connection component designed exclusively for low-speed industrial shunting locomotives, max operating speed limited under 100km/h, not applicable for high-speed trains, metro or EMU rolling stock.
It adopts Janney knuckle self-locking structure: vehicles auto-lock upon collision, only manual side lever unlocking required, no staff need to stand between carriages, greatly improving yard operation safety. Equipped with integrated large-capacity spring/hydraulic draft gear, it absorbs huge impact force during frequent shunting, start-stop and braking. Perfectly matched with SAINEER powered bogies, traction wheelsets and axle gearboxes to form one-stop locomotive running & traction system supply.

SAINEER screw buffer chain coupler follows UIC European industrial rail standard, specially developed for low-speed narrow-gauge factory, mine and yard rail vehicles, maximum operating speed below 100km/h, not for high-speed transit equipment.
The whole set consists of double side spring buffer pads + adjustable screw tension chain. Buffers bear vehicle collision compression force, screw chain undertakes traction tension; workers manually tighten the screw link to connect carriages. Simple structure, low production & maintenance cost, widely recognized by European, Southeast Asian, African mining & chemical industrial clients. Compatible with SAINEER non-powered trailing bogies and idle load-bearing wheelsets for all kinds of unpowered rail wagons and small tonnage shunting locomotives.
